DimBaseline command in CAD

DimBaseline command in cad (dba command in cad): it is the command to specify the dimension in parallel with existing dimension.

  • Command: dimbaseline
  • Shortcut command: dba
  • Menu: dimension\baseline

When specifying the parallel dimension series by Dimbaseline command, the dimension that will be specified (straight dimension, angle, coordinate) gets the same first extension line with the dimension that has just been specified or the existing dimension on drawing (dimension standard or design standard). The dimension lines with a distance are fixed by DIMDLI variable (according to Vietnamese Standard, it is longer than 7mm) or enter the value in box Baseline Spacing on page Lines and Arrows of dialog box New Dimension Styles or Override Current Style.

1. Dimension at the same standard with the dimension which has just been specified.
