Change background color for Layout in AutoCAD
Change background color for Layout in AutoCAD: When drawing CAD, default for background black of Model environment will reduce eyestrain for long use. Whereas background color of Layout or window Block Editor is white or grey that does not make the drawing objects clear (it is difficult to observe). You can change them to the black or another dark color as below way:

Open dialog box Option:
Command : Op ↵ change to Display card

You click at Color, choose Layout -> Back -> Black

For layout with whole background color is black as above, you have to choose more as the picture.

You cancel the choice “display paper background:
