The steps to install AutoCAD Font for Windows:

• Exit AutoCAD
• You decompress and copy all to Font Autocad folder. If you install AutoCAD on C drive, the path is as follows:

C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 201x\Fonts

Add Font in AutoCAD for Macbook:

Exit AutoCAD
In Finder, go to/ Applications / Autodesk / AutoCAD 201x.

Press the right mouse at ‘AutoCAD 201x.app’ and select Show Package Contents .

Go to/ Contents/ Resources/ Fonts

Copy your Font files to folder shx or ttf, depending on font type.

Fonts which are added in AutoCAD for MAC are in application package. This is correct for SHX font but TrueType font can be installed through Font Book instead of being added in AutoCAD. By this way. True Type font can be used by all applications on system.
