Grid command in AutoCAD
Grid command in AutoCAD creates the grid points in the drawing limit. The distance between grid points following to direction X, Y can be similar or different depending on definition in dialog box Drafting Setting (displayed in Osnap command as below picture):
Grid status can be turned on or turned off by clicking double at key Grid on the status bar or press key F7.
The distance between grids following to direction X, Y are defined as above picture.
Function of grid: to adjust the distance relatively. In fact, we rarely use grid in cad.
