CELTSCALE command in AutoCAD – Assign the linetype scale for upcoming drawing object

CELTSCALE command in CAD (System variable CELTSCALE in CAD): It is used to assign the linetype scale for upcoming drawing object. This variable relates to scale value fixed by Ltscale command.

  • Command: CELTSCALE ↵
  • Enter new value for CELTSCALE <1.0000>: ↵ enter a positive value

You should distinguish that when you change the Ltscale value, it will effect on all objects on drawing. However, when you change the value of CELTSCALE variable, it just effects directly on upcoming drawing objects.

– In dialog box Linetype Manager, the value of CELTSCALE variable is fixed by edit box Current Objects Scale (when choosing key Details>)

For example: First, you have the dashed line with variable Ltscale = 1

Go to CELTSCALE=2 command and draw a new object, we will get:

It means that this command just effects on different dashed object with ltscale

Good luck!
