Imageattach command in cad is the command to insert the image in autocad. Below is the way to start imageattach command in AutoCAD

Imageattach command in AutoCAD attaches a new image for current drawing.

  • Attach an image

Start the command: Insert >> Raster Image Reference…. the dialog box appears:

1. In the dialog box Select Image File, select a file name from the list of enter the name of image file in the list box File Name. Press Open. The dialog box Image will appear

2. In the dialog box Image, use one of the below methods to fix insertion point, scale, rotation angle:

3. Choose þ Specify On-Screen to use the pointer choosing a position of insertion point, scale or rotation angle you want.

4. Choose þ Specify On-Screen and enter the next values of Insertion Point, Scale, rotation angle

5. To view the unit of measure for image, press Details.

6. Press OK
