DimAligned command in CAD (dal command in cad): It is the command to specify dimension following oblique line. Dimension line specified by Dimaligned will be in parallel with the line segment connecting 2 origin points of extension line.
Below is the way to use DimAligned command in cad:
- Command: DimAligned
- Shortcut command: dal
- menu : dimension\aliged
1. Specify the straight dimension.
Command : DAL or Dimaligned
– Specify first extension line origin or <select object>: – Origin point of the first extension line
– Specify second extension line origin: – Origin point of the second extension line
– Specify dimension line location or [Mtext/Text/Angle]: – Choose 01 point to fix the position of dimension line or enter relative coordinate to fix distance.
2. Specify dimension of segment and segment of a circle
Command : DAL↵ or Dimaligned
– Specify first extension line origin or <select object>:↵ – At this prompt line, you choose ENTER
– Select object to dimension: – Choose the circle, the point to fix the position of 2 extension lines.
Specify dimension line location or [Mtext/ Text/Angle]: T↵
Dimension text < >: – Enter dimension number, %%C
Specify dimension line location or [Mtext/ Text/Angle]: – Choose the point to fix the position of dimension line.
