RAY command in AutoCAD – Draw extension line in CAD
RAY command in AutoCAD is usually used as a command to draw extension line in CAD. This command is used to draw a half of straight line (across circle center)
- Menu: Draw –> Ray
You carry out this command similar to Xline command in CAD, but instead of drawing whole straight line, Ray command only draws a half of straight line from the first definition point.
- Command: Ray
- Specify start point: Choose the first point (start point)
- Specify through point: Choose the second point (the point orients for a half of straight line)
- Specify through point: Choose other point (the point orients for a new half of straight line across point (1)
- Specify through point: ↵ to complete the command
Good luck!
