Print Multiple Drawings in MODEL and LAYOUT Super Fast
Applying the LISP CAD Multiple Drawing Printing Tool for both Model and Layout spaces opens a new era of efficiency and precision in printing after completing your design work. Mastering this tool and using it smoothly brings an amazing experience — making you feel like a seasoned expert in your professional field.
What is Batch Printing Lisp in CAD?
The Batch Printing Lisp in CAD is a utility (an application written in AutoLISP language) that can be installed on CAD software such as AutoCAD, ProgeCAD, ZwCAD, and others.
It allows users to print multiple drawings at once with just a few simple steps.
Instead of manually opening each drawing, setting up the printer, paper size, scale, and plot style, the Lisp automatically handles everything in bulk based on your pre-defined configuration.
Benefits of Using LispCAD for Batch Printing
🕒 Save Time & Effort:
No more opening each AutoCAD drawing to adjust plot settings, printer name, paper size, scale, and printing manually. LispCAD automates the entire process in just one command.
📏 Consistent Print Quality:
Ensures all drawings are printed using the same printer, paper size, plot style, and scale — eliminating inconsistencies between files.
👥 Boost Team Efficiency:
When multiple people are working on different drawings, everyone can use LispCAD to print together quickly without manual adjustments or assistance.
✅ Reduce Human Errors:
Manual setups (print area, title block, scale, plot style) are prone to mistakes. LispCAD minimizes these by keeping everything synchronized and consistent.
⚙️ Flexible & Convenient:
Offers multiple print area options (Block, Rectangle, All), supports PDF export, allows custom print order and offset adjustment, and adapts to many different project requirements.
How to Load and Use the Lisp for Batch Printing in MODEL and LAYOUT in AutoCAD
Step 1: Load the Lisp into AutoCAD
Use the shortcut command AP (APPLOAD) as usual:
- Type AP → press Spacebar or Enter.
- Browse to the folder containing your Lisp file → select the Lisp → click Load → then Close.
- Once successfully loaded, you’ll see the message “Successfully loaded.”
- You can also drag and drop the Lisp file directly into the CAD workspace (Model space) — that’s it!
