TRACE command in AutoCAD – The command to draw the thick straight segments
TRACE command in AutoCAD is the command to draw the thick straight segments. Generally, to draw the thick straight segments, we use Line command then use PEdit command in CAD to edit thickness of line command. However, Trace command in CAD can help you to do it.
- Command line: Trace
- Specify trace width <0.2000>: Enter distance, or enter vaue, or ↵
- Specify start point: Specify point (1)
- Specify next point: Specify point (2)
- Specify next point: Specify point (3) or ↵ to complete the command
Straight segment is filled when Fill command has value ON.
